Band programs- Registration is Now Open
We strongly recommend our band program to get the most out of your music lessons.  Our band program builds on our private instruction allowing the students to experience working together as a band. Being a part of a band keeps students engaged while building confidence and teaching them skills such as responsibility and teamwork. In collaboration with their band director, students will work on material based on their musical interest and abilities. Weekly rehearsals culminate in an end of season performance in front of family and friends to showcase their accomplishments. 
 
Minors (Beginner) 
30 or 45 minute lesson plus 90 minute band rehearsal weekly

Our Minors Program is designed for the beginning and young musicians age 8 - 12. Students will learn the fundamentals of playing together as a band in a fun creative environment. Students will build on their weekly individual lesson with a 90 minute weekly band rehearsal. No experience needed, jump right in and start making music! Graduates will progress to our Majors program.
                                             
Majors (Beginner- Intermediate - Advanced)
45 or 60 minute lesson plus 2 hour band rehearsal weekly

Our Majors Program is our teen program, where students are formed into groups that rehearse weekly, working towards an end of season live gig. Students build on their weekly individual lesson with a 2 hour band rehearsal. Students learn the skills and techniques needed to advance their playing, play in a band, and perform at a higher level. Our majors program emphasizes understanding key musical concepts such as song structure and arrangement, in addition to performance skills.

 

Mini Melodies (Ages 2-5)

Where Little Ones Learn, Grow, and Shine Through the Magic of Music! Our engaging, interactive class for ages 2-5 nurtures creativity, builds confidence, and develops early musical skills through playful songs, movement, and hands-on activities.

Masterclasses
Master classes on music related subjects are held twice a month and truly round out our offerings. These classes are designed to explore musical subjects outside of the lesson room. Classes will include topics such as; 
 

• Maintaining and repairing your instrument 

• Music History- How music of the past has brought us to where we are today

• Music Theory- Understanding how music works

• Audio Engineering- How to record and edit audio, live sound reinforcement

• Guest Speakers and industry experts sharing their knowledge and experiences as a musician

Songwriting/recording

45 or 60 minute lesson plus 2 hour session weekly

We are excited to offer a weekly 2 hour group session where students have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of songwriting, create original music and record in our in-house studio. Our songwriting program builds on our private instruction allowing the students to be creative, while learning about composition, arrangement, music theory and using these skills to collectively write songs. They finish up in the studio, recording their creations and learning about the recording process. ​​​
